If you are interested in applying for a place at Marlborough School we strongly advise visiting the school.  Choosing a school is one of the most important decisions you make for your child and - quite apart from the information on these pages, inspection reports and league tables - you will want to know at first hand the ethos of the school, the manner in which its values are lived out and the strength of relationships that will support him or her throughout the primary years.

Marlborough is a community school and applications are administered centrally by Cornwall Council.  The Published Admission Number (the maximum we can take in each class) has been set at 30.

If your child was born between 1 September 2013 and 31 August 2014, and you have not already done so, you will need to contact the local authority either on-line or by telephone, 0300 1234 100 for a school place in September 2018.  Places at Marlborough have now been allocated and you will need to contact the Children's Services Authority.  The Local Authority's Admissions Criteria can be downloaded by clicking the link below.  Further details of how the authority allocates places and the order of priority can be found in the Admissions booklet, also below, or accessed on the county website.
