Amy Richards

I grew up in Cornwall and after a completing a BA in History at Cambridge University I worked in publishing, communications, and fundraising in Oxford for a number of years. I moved back to Cornwall in 2016, choosing to live in Falmouth due to its vibrant community scene. I currently work as Appeal Manager at Cornwall Air Ambulance, coordinating all of the activities in a major campaign to bring a state-of-the-art air ambulance helicopter to Cornwall.

Both my husband and my brother are teachers, so I am constantly aware of the continual changes to education policy and the impact this has on teaching staff and children alike. I am passionate about ensuring that children discover a real love for learning that will guide them throughout their lives.
